last week I fucked up when I was supposed to play Traktor. I fucked up this week as well but eventually got it on air. More next week.
4. THE SAUCERS – ELVIS PRESLEY WAS A JUNKIE (LIVE) (Brutarian Quarterfly/Dagger Promotions)
Timo from Alerta Antifascista (underground DIY-uncle/good guy) was fucked severely over financially by the American band GG Elvis last year. They still owe him a ridiculous amount of money and benefit-shows are hopefully being set up all across the globe. Turns out one of the guys in GG Elvis is/was a junkie as well and tried to kill himself after realizing the trouble he’d put Timo in. Oh my.
So this song was for Timo. From the “We Went and Recorded it Anyway – The Best of Pop-Punk and Power Pop 1977-84″ compilation sent to us by the very nice mr. Keith from Dagger Promotions

9. SUNDANCE KIDS – LA CHEVACHEE ASTIQE (self rel)
the “classic” in the same column. “Classic” coz this was released last year or something but its such an awesome track I had to play it. Its a French underground/DIY-instrumental surfband for christs sake!
10. VÄNSTERNÄVEN – ALT KOMMER BLI BÄTTRE (Svindel)
the song-title translates into “everythings going to get better” and it sure will when Maiken returns next week
11. SOCIAL SUICIDE – 5TH MAN ON A DEAD MANS GRAVE (Myspace)
I fucked up when I was supposed to play this earlier in the show so I added it to the ending. Soon to be released as a 7″, I stole it from their Myspace.
