Onsdagens sending var mer fullstappet enn vanlig med hovedvekt på skandinavisk punk og hardcore og som vanlig inneholdende konsert- og annen relevant informasjon for deg med et bankende hjerte for punk, hardcore og ska. Spillelisten er som vanlig på engelsk.

AGGRESSO! PLAYLIST # 22 – 25.08.10
1. TREVOLT – MITT SISTA ANDETAG (Heptown)
from “I All Hast”. A fantastic poppunk-record! Expect more from this.
2. NEMAS – BACKSTREETS OF LONDON (self rel)
had one of the absolutely coolest songs (“Alcohol”) on “Sounds Fishy Vol.1″-comp. “If We Could Play faster We Would” from 2009 does not dissapoint. Makes me smile.
3. THE BRISTELS – JUSTICE feat. Neli (Hooligans Hjältar) (Switchlight/Hepcat)
the newly reformed old Swede punkbands’ new record “Reflections of the Bourgeois Society” takes a few listens before it hits. A bit to generic for my taste but definitively listenable.
4. LOS LANGEROS – GREASY GOAT (Normal)
“This is Normal” was sent to us this spring. A weird, complex and catchy record.
5. BILLY BONER – HALO (self rel)
the Samnanger-based Checked Baggages guitarists debut solo-album “…Not Quite Famous Yet” may not bring him stardom but stuff like this cover of Beyoncé sure is entertaining.
6. BITTER TASTE – POLICE GAMES (demo)
playing Kvarteret Saturday w/Jeroan Drive and Of Grace and Hatred
7. THE SLACKERS – SAME EVERY DAY (Hell-Cat/Tuba)
playing Betong, Oslo tonight w/Yoga Grossist. This is off their brand new album “The Great Rocksteady Swindle”. Good shit.
8. RIKETS CRUST – ANARKOPRIMITIV (Atale Plater)
main-feature in the Norwegian Punk-column. Played the Hole in the Sky-festival (!) yesterday.
9. BØYEN BENG – GESSELVISE (Fysisk Format/Diger)
the classic in the same column, lifted off the newly remastered and re-released “Fanteri” which also includes their “Storbynatt EP” from 1993.
10. EVOLVE – STAYING CLEAR (Fysisk Format/Diger/Cargo/Sound Pollution)
off the new “Bransjevelter #5″-compilation, featuring a fine line of bands such as Årabrot, Livstid, Siste Dagers Helvete, Bøyen Beng, Beinkjør, Freedumb, Feilfødt, Common Cause, Knuste Ruter, Okkultokrati and a bunch more, 24 in total. Cant go wrong with this.
11. STARS BURN STRIPES – I LOST THE POINT (5 Feet Under)
one of two (!) Danish hardcorebands this week. “Buy Now, Pay Later” is an absolutely excellent melodic hardcore-record. You’d be a fool to miss it!
12. MIGHTY MIDGETS – RUINS FOR THE FUTURE (5 Feet Under/Brown Bag Propaganda/Deadlamb/Empty Bottles/Ice Cold/Shattered Thoughts)
Danish hardcoreband no.2 this week. We played a track from “Raising Ruins for the Future” this spring as well but it was such a cool record I had to spin it again.
13. AKTIVT HJÄRNSLÄPP – KALLT GOLV (Trapadoor Recs/Sound Pollution)
“Kallblodig Vision” is remiscent of Dia Psalma only different. Swedish band no. 1 million this week.
Next week; report no.1 from my European tour this summer together with Two Fighters Against a Star Destroyer, concert-updates, Forroners Punk-column and lodsa new records with Swedish Nobelkomittén, 3 alternative tentacles; noisecoresters Git Some, rock and roll’ers Dash Rip Rock and the christian garagepunkers Knights of the New Crusade, Swedish Dickies/Buzzcocks-copycats TV Eye and the classic norwegian hardcoreband Siste Dagers Helvete whom had their only album from 1984 remastered and rereleased with loadsa bonustracks. Ok, thats alot of records. I’ll see how much I can manage to squeeze in in one hour.
Last mailout I informed y’all this wil be last year (10 months) doing Aggresso! Come next summer its bye bye from me. In other news, we’ve been offered to have a radiocafé during this years Phonofestival AND perhaps a new co-worker is on its way. More news on this as I have them myself. Remember to hook us up on Myspace and Facebook. And keep those records coming. This will probably be the absolutely best year in the history of Aggresso! Punkrock radio since we started out in 2001.
